NEOFLON PFA AP-230 is a fluororesin that is excellent in meltflowability.
It is suitable for extrusion molding.

Introduction

AP-230 is a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and perfluoroalkylvinyl ether.

Good melt flowability while maintaining excellent properties ofPTFE. It can be melt-molded as a thermoplastic resin by extrusionmolding, transfer molding, compression molding and the like.

It has been used for tubes, pipes, sheets, liningapplications.

It is widely used as a thick plate material by compressionmolding.

Excellent chemical resistance which is not affected by most ofthe chemicals.

It retains flexibility without losing toughness under theenvironment from cryogenic to high temperature.

Excellent heat resistance. Continuous use temperature is260°C.

Low dielectric constant and dielectric loss tangent in a widerange of temperature and frequency.

It shows high electrical resistance and dielectric strength.

Nonflammable like POLYFLON PTFE and NEOFLON FEP.

Excellent weather resistance. No properties change even whenexposed outside for a long time.

Non-stickiness. It shows excellent releasability and waterrepellency / oil repellency.
